Built in place of the family’s original lake cottage, Lakehouse Legacy was designed to feel connected to what came before. Original wood panelling was carefully preserved and given new life in the main living space, including on the kitchen island and living room wall.

Each space carries its own take on the cottage’s lakeside setting, with warm, natural finishes and subtle references to sand, water and shoreline living. From the BM Blue Nose laundry and mudroom to the thoughtfully designed bathrooms, every room feels relaxed, personal and unmistakably cottage.

The result is a home that may be new, but still feels like it has stories to tell.
